English Language Learners (ELL) offers English language instruction that enables students to enhance their proficiency in listening, speaking, writing, reading, and comprehension, ultimately enabling them to achieve success in their content courses and in social contexts both within and outside of school. Students from other cultures often become acclimated to U.S. culture through language-based instruction.

• The ELL teachers work in collaboration with classroom and other special programs teachers to support the acquisition of language and content skills.
• The ELL program promotes each student's appreciation of their ability to perform a wide variety of social and academic activities. 
• The ELL program encourages the students’ positive recognition of a variety of cultures, recognizing similarities and differences.
• K-3 students meet with the ELL teacher 45 minutes daily. 
• 4th and 5th-grade students meet with the ELL teacher 50 minutes daily.
